Track drive vs. exotic rental

A track experience lets you drive hard, legally, with an instructor and no speed limits on a closed course, for a few laps. An exotic rental gives you a car on public roads for hours or days, with posted limits and a large security deposit. For a single unforgettable drive, the track wins. For a weekend cruise through the Hill Country, see rentals at our sister site Lucky Life Exotics.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need racing experience?

No. Track experiences are designed for regular licensed drivers. You get a safety briefing and a professional instructor rides with you.

How old do you have to be?

Drivers generally must be 18 or older with a valid driver's license. Ride-along minimum ages vary by provider and state; Xtreme Xperience lists 18+ for its COTA events.

What if it rains?

Most providers run in light rain and reschedule for unsafe conditions. Check the provider's weather and rescheduling policy before you buy.
